HOW TO REACH PARMA AND THE MEETING VENUE

Please take notice that courtesy shuttle bus will be provided ONLY for participants with hotel reserved by the Organizing Secretariat

 The University Campus can be reached by public buses departing from/to the city centre

It is possible to reach Parma by train, plane and car.

By CAR:
Parma is on main Italian highway: "Autostrada del Sole" A1. Take exit Parma
 and "Autostrada della Cisa" A15 and exit Parma Ovest. www.autostrade.it. When you leave the highway A1 at the exit "Parma" (not "Parma ovest"), follow the sign for "Fiera" on the right. You will enter a boulevard with street lamps in the middle. Continue for approx. 1 km and then, after 3 roundabouts, enter the city belt, following the sign "Milano". Follow the city belt direction "Piacenza - La Spezia - Milano". After approx. 5 km take the exit n. 10 towards "La Spezia". After about 1 km there is a roundabout. After approx. 7 km, before a bridge, follow the sign "Langhirano" and at the roundabout: take to the right (follow "Campus") and enter the University Campus. Once reached the University Campus (Via Langhirano entrance) follow the main boulevard. After the second turn on the right, there is a cross: turn on the left to enter in the parking of the Faculty of Engineering

The University Campus can be reached by bus (numbers 7 , 14 or 21) from Parma Railway Station and get off at the first bus stop on the University Campus. The travel time is approx. 20 min. Otherwise, take a taxi (taxis are at the railway station) the taxi phone number is ++39 0521 252562.

Parma Airport "Giuseppe Verdi" is daily connected with Rome and with some Italian and European cities. For more information please visit the Airport web site: http://www.aeroportoparma.it/
Parma Airport is about 10 Km from the University Campus. It is linked to the railway station, the majors hotels of Parma and the downtown by the Aerobus (n. 6), a bus service that offers a run for each departure or arrival flight.
